Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also stimulates natural healing abilities. It is a spiritual practice based on life force energy. This life force energy flows through us. If a person’s life force energy is low, they are more likely to get sick or feel stress. The word reiki is made up of two Japanese words – Rei – which means God’s wisdom or the higher power and Ki – which means life force energy. Therefore, Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy.
Reiki is not a religion; therefore, there is nothing you must believe to receive reiki. The reiki practitioner sends life force energy through their hands and puts their hands on or above your body. Reiki works just as well when done from a distance. Since everything is energy, the life force energy sent by the reiki practitioner is received instantly from a distance. Reiki can help promote healing on a physical, mental and spiritual level.
The guided meditations are focused on promoting peace, unconditional love, harmony, and releasing all that no longer serves your highest good, expanding your love and light, and sending those positive energies to the collective.
Sound healing therapy is conducted through quartz singing bowls tuned at 432 hertz. There are seven bowls, each tuned to the seven chakras (energy centers) in our body.
To futher help open the flow of energy in your chakras, Italian Aria also uses tuning forks set at different frequencies including 174 hertz that assists in pain relief and 285 hertz, which aids in healing and regenerating tissues.
The sessions are one hour and can be designed to apply one or more of the therapeutic modalities described above. Due to Italian Aria’s work schedule, sessions will be booked exclusively on the weekend.

I just received my session and felt compelled to leave a review of my experience – as her authentic, clear soothing voice of confidence was apparent from the start of the session and had a deep effect upon me. The guided meditation was thoroughly organized, moved smoothly and gave amazing detailed instruction for extra visual third eye engagement and guidance, as to obtain more focus on the areas that needed clearing.
