The Aries Full Moon arrives September 26th, putting the spotlight on your identity, independence and personal direction.
As the trailblazer and pioneer of the zodiac, Aries is courageous enough to venture into unfamiliar territory, where others haven’t gone before, carving a path of its very own.
But Neptune is closely connected to this lunation, suggesting that the way forward isn’t entirely clear. It appears there’s something vague, hidden or mysterious — or something happening behind the scenes.
Neptune blurs the lines between reality and imagination, between intuition and projection, and between who you really are and the image or mask the rest of the world sees.
Perhaps you feel called to go in a new direction, or to take a new approach — even if you don’t have all the information yet or can’t see exactly where the road leads.
This combination requires you to sharpen your intuition, learning to trust your inner compass as you navigate unfamiliar terrain. Aries energy is about going first and forging your own path — moving forward without having the entire map.

This Full Moon is enmeshed in a much larger planetary pattern, forming part of a Kite with Pluto in Aquarius, Uranus in Gemini and the Libra Sun.
Pluto in Aquarius brings the potential for profound and permanent changes wherever Pluto is moving through your chart. And some of these changes run deep. It could be that the way you see, understand or experience a situation is deeply changed. It’s as if once you’ve crossed certain thresholds, there’s no going back to how things were before. And it’s a totally new landscape.
Uranus in Gemini awakens your mind, bringing unexpected information, mental breakthroughs, intuitive downloads and perspectives that are rapidly changing. New information can connect dots for you, freeing your mind or suddenly revealing possibilities you never considered before. New pathways can open up through flashes of insight, unconventional ideas or innovative plans.
Other people are also part of the plan as the Libra Sun sits across the sky.
This brings involvement and participation, collaborations and conversations, agreements and partnerships — or perhaps even confrontations — that serve to reveal something about yourself that you couldn’t see before. Other people can act as a mirror—sometimes you need someone standing right in front of you to reflect something back to you, or to give another perspective that maybe you weren’t aware of before.
And with Neptune closely connected to this Full Moon, there may be matters around image and projection — whether you’re seeing yourself, another person or a situation as it truly is, or an image you’ve created around it.
🔥 Mars Hits a Sore Spot
Mars, the ruler of this Aries Full Moon, is moving through Cancer, bringing emotions, instincts, home, family, safety and belonging into the mix. Mars in Cancer acts instinctually, with gut reactions and habitual responses.
And Mars and Chiron square off with each other at the very last degree of their respective signs. Ouch.
The 29th degree carries a sense of culmination and urgency — the final moments of a sign before the energy moves into something new. With both planets in this potent degree, this can feel like a finale of sorts, bringing an old sore spot back around for another look. Good times – I know.
Chiron will hit this degree again in the Spring of 2027.
This can trigger hurt feelings, vulnerabilities and old emotional patterns around belonging, identity and the right to just BE who you are.
Triggers are teachers, so what’s being stirred up can also show you exactly where some healing is still needed.
You’ll most likely feel this one when it hits, so instead of engaging with your inner auto responder, this can be the catalyst for making a different choice, breaking an old pattern or responding differently than you ever have before.
There may be a sense of the familiar — been there, done that, got the T-shirt — but that doesn’t mean you have to do things the same way again. The choice is always yours.

The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon is “Two lovers strolling on a secluded walk.”
This image implies that you’re not walking your path all alone. Instead, there’s meaningful connection and a quiet space created between two people, away from the noise and influence of the outside world.
Oddly enough, while Aries is a sign associated with individuality, this symbol depicts two people moving together.
Perhaps you don’t have to choose between yourself and another if you can recognize who’s able to walk beside you without needing you to abandon yourself just to get along and keep the relationship going.
💗 Relationships in the Rearview
Venus, ruler of the Libra Sun, is slowing down and preparing to turn retrograde in Scorpio in just a week. She’s barely moving at the time of this Full Moon, adding even more emphasis to relationships, connections and what you value.
When Venus appears to move backwards in her orbit, it brings a period for reviewing, reassessing and reconsidering your relationships, connections and agreements with others — along with who and what you’re attracting or attracted to, and who or what really matters to you.
Starting in Scorpio, Venus takes another look at areas of trust, intimacy, deeper bonds and soul connections. Then she retraces her steps back into Libra, bringing questions of partnership, reciprocity, fairness and balance back to the table.
Venus retrograde can also bring old loves and people from your past back around. It could be a reconnection or the completion of a lesson. Perhaps it shows up as a familiar relationship pattern that still has something to teach you.
And with Venus preparing to change direction, the relationship themes surrounding this Aries Full Moon get even more interesting.
What’s revealed now may be part of a bigger story. You could be at the beginning of a longer process of discovering who belongs with you, what you truly love and appreciate, how others treat you and make you feel and whether or not the connections you’re participating in actually reflect who you’re becoming.
It’s also worth mentioning that Venus retrograde is a time to think twice before making any dramatic changes to your appearance, style, decorating or expensive purchases.
Your tastes and preferences may be a bit “off” when the goddess of beauty and love is out of phase, so those design decisions made now may not look quite so spectacular once Venus is moving forward again.
