Scorpio New Moon ~ A Portal of Power, Purge and Renewal

by Christina Celona

The Scorpio New Moon November 19th /20th (depending on where in the world you are) arrives like a psychic tsunami — a tidal wave of emotions, memories, and deeeeep truths -suddenly awakening something within you — like being zapped by a bolt of lightning.

Scorpio governs the Underworld and the cycles of life, death and rebirth – it’s a time of shedding, culling, renewal and revitalization. There’s something ending while at the same time, something is emerging— there’s no going back to the way things were.

Several planets have their say at this lunation — let’s get into it:

The Kite Configuration: Direction Through the Depths

This New Moon forms the release point of a rare and potent Kite configuration— with Mercury Rx and Black Moon Lilith tightly conjunct the Sun and Moon in Scorpio, forming a Water Grand Trine with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer while Uranus in Taurus makes an opposition.

Emotions are flowing -and things feel electrifying. Uranus sits across the Sky in Taurus, acting as the electrical charge that surges and stirs the waters.

This is not floating merrily down the stream – this is whitewater rafting down a waterfall.

It’s a soul-level, full body reformatting.

With Mercury Rx and Black Moon Lilith closely connected to the Sun and Moon in Scorpio, you’re compelled to look beneath the surface at the deep dark, shadowy material within.  There’s a focus on the dark feminine and her primal raw power and you may be forced to take another look at old stories and secrets, unearthing what’s been buried for what seems like eons. What’s being revealed may feel upsetting, disturbing, anxious and deeply uncomfortable but it’s also awakening something deep and ancient.

This phase also brings emotional and psychic sensitivity, deep healing and intuitive downloads. It offers an opening for shedding outdated emotional responses, outdated beliefs, ancestral pain, or even inherited trauma that’s lived in your nervous system for years. This allows for a system reboot, breaking the spell of comfort and complacency that you’re no longer aligned with. You’ve gained the emotional wisdom and maturity to understand the meaning of your experiences —not just the fact that you survived them.

Uranus Rx in Taurus: Nervous System, Timelines & Sky Anomalies

Uranus is newly backtracking in Taurus while sitting opposite this New Moon, bringing surprises and sudden revelations. There’s a buzz in the air — both exciting and unsettling — as it shakes you awake and pushes you out of your comfort zone.

Financially speaking, this may show up as:
• Market swings
• Currency shifts
• Tech glitches and energetic interruptions

But on a deeper level, Uranus stirs the subtle realms too. You might feel:
• Timeline jumps
• Psychic impressions
• Parallel overlays or bleed-throughs
• Your ‘clairs’ suddenly sharpening
• Or even unexpected visitors — from the past or other dimensions

Expect the unexpected.
It might be a wild ride — but there’s magic in the chaos.

Earth, Sky & the Unseen: Uranus Amplified

Uranus in Taurus is also activating Earth and sky.

As this planet of disruption opposes the New Moon, we may also experience:
• Weather anomalies
• Aurora flares from recent solar storms
• Strange sightings or sky phenomena (hello, 3I ATLAS and friends…)
• Geomagnetic shifts affecting your sleep, mood, electronics and more

Uranus rules electricity, revelation, and sudden awakenings.
This isn’t just personal. It’s galactic. Stay grounded and keep an open mind.

Sabian Symbol Wisdom: Archetypes in Motion

This lunation doesn’t just hit on the emotional level — it’s laced with archetypal vibes. While exploring the Sabian symbols activated through this Scorpio New Moon Kite configuration, we find a story about emotional reckoning, conscious choice, spiritual embodiment, and rising above past paradigms.

Scorpio New Moon + Mercury Rx ~ “An Indian woman pleads to the chief for the lives of her children.”

This symbol is filled with meaning — especially in the current geo-political climate.

It speaks to:

  • Power structures
  • Governmental authority
  • Maternal instincts, courage and advocacy
  • Protecting what is sacred and vulnerable

This is the voice of the feminine demanding protection — not just for herself, but for future generations. It calls into question our values, our social priorities, and who truly holds power. With Mercury at this degree, this is about going over old stories, seeing things from another perspective, speaking truth, calling it out, demanding integrity from those who wield influence — and taking back your own power.

Black Moon Lilith in Scorpio ~ “A military band on the march.”

This symbol sounds aggressive at first glance, but deeper interpretations reveal something potent and perhaps even promising.

It speaks to:

  • Displaying power and strength
  • A knack for bringing situations into clear focus
  • The ability to direct the course of fate toward what once seemed impossible or unimaginable

Lilith here is fierce and focused with the ability to lead and command.
She’s making enough noise to turn heads, forcing you to pay attention.

Uranus Rx in Taurus ~ “A peacock parading on an ancient lawn.”

This symbol seems to echo the theme of putting things on display along with:

  • Cultural and ancestral heritage
  • Awakening to your inherited gifts
  • Self-expression and showing one’s true colors without shame

Uranus brings sudden awareness, and in this case, it may awaken parts of yourself that have been passed down, protected, or hidden in plain sight. There’s something ceremonial about this — like regaining what once made you magnificent before you were taught to tone it down.

Jupiter Rx in Cancer ~ “Guests reading in the library of a luxurious home.”

Besides an image of luxury — it’s about rising to another level, expanding your consciousness, your emotional intelligence, and your spiritual rewards.

You’ve gained wisdom through your experiences — and this New Moon asks you to constructively apply it. The opportunity for emotional growth is there if you trust that the things you’ve been through haven’t just taken from you but has also given you something valuable.

Saturn in Pisces ~ “A New Moon that divides its influences.”

This symbol speaks of choice points — freedom of will, the splitting of timelines, and the moment you decide which version of yourself you’re going to embody.

With Saturn here, this is about manifestation — not just daydreaming about change but building real foundations from your soul’s wisdom.

And with this New Moon conjunct both Mercury Rx and Black Moon Lilith, the past is heavy on your mind:

  • Old conversations that still sting
  • Power you gave away
  • Abuse, betrayal, rage +++
  • All the things you know you’d do differently— knowing what you know now

Now you get to choose again — with consciousness, courage, and clarity.

Neptune in Pisces ~ “The Great Stone Face.”

This is the last degree of the last sign — the final act of Neptune in Pisces in our lifetime. Layer that with this being a 9-year in numerology —a universal year of endings and soul completion, completion of your mission and this symbol reads more like a prophecy.

Dane Rudhyar writes:

“A majestic rock formation resembling a face is idealized by a boy who takes it as his image of greatness. As he grows up, he begins to resemble it.”

This is the embodiment of an ideal — becoming what you once only aspired to. This doesn’t come through perfection— but through surrender, showing up consistently, and conscious action. This is an invitation to release projections and embody your highest archetype and actually become the vision of your best self.

These symbols speak to the story of the transitioning of the Collective Soul that’s faced deep emotional loss—beliefs, ego, dark night of the Soul +++ and is standing at the precipice of awakening to one’s natural gifts and power — activating one’s free will while choosing to embody their own innate wisdom, calling out the false powers and finally stepping into view – not for a nod, but for authenticity.

This lunation is part reflection, part power surge of awakening, and part portal to a new paradigm.

New Moon Blessings and Good Vibes to All!
