🌑 Post-Eclipse Awakening
The Aries Full Moon October 6th brings the very first lunation since September’s shake-ups and the eclipse portal cracked open the sky and rewrote so many of (y)our timelines.
The Virgo Solar Eclipse brought endings, edits and corrections, acting as a Cosmic clean-up crew, clearing away what no longer serves, stripping away illusions and releasing anything too heavy to continue carrying any longer. What’s been veiled, avoided, out of sight or simmering beneath the surface is suddenly illuminated. Once you see it — you can’t un-see it. 👀
This phase reveals what’s survived the purge and what can no longer hide in the shadows.
⚖️ Aries ↔ Libra Axis: Me vs. We
This Full Moon highlights the Aries/Libra axis: me vs. we. After the intensity of the eclipses, relationships of all sorts — personal, professional, spiritual — are due for an appraisal and recalibrating. Some may feel like a combat zone, while others are like salvation.
This lunation shines a light on your independence, self-assertion and where you may have compromised too much, calling on your courage to stand up for yourself even if it means having it out. On the other hand, you may be the one put on notice. It could be that someone is mirroring something you need to confront within yourself.
🌱 Seeds to Spotlight
Full Moons illuminate what began at the corresponding New Moon, and this one carries extra oomph —acting as the counterpart to that potent Aries Solar Eclipse earlier this year. Whatever was seeded, stirred, or awakened then, now stands in the spotlight. That Eclipse cracked open a cosmic portal at the very start of the zodiac, as we stood on the threshold of something new, uncharted territory. A seed moment with the bold, fiery force of Aries and amplified by Neptune’s once-in-a-lifetime move into Aries the very next day.
🗣 Mercury Opp Chiron + Quincunx Saturn — Old Wounds, Timeless Healing
This Full Moon comes on the heels of Mercury’s face off with Chiron in Aries — which is still in play. This isn’t casual conversation — it’s time to talk out the tough stuff, mend what you can and let go of the rest. Although some of these conversations may bite, they’re the medicine needed now.
There could be old misunderstandings and ancient rifts surfacing that feels karmic — like a conversation that’s been waiting lifetimes to be had. It’s as if something is dissolving, loosening, shifting and rebalancing. The truth wants out no matter how uncomfortable it gets.
You may feel:
- Old wounds bubbling up through arguments or sudden memories flashing through your mind.
- A call to take your power back where you’ve given it away.
- A need for raw honesty, even if it means rocking the boat.
- Restlessness — feeling like you must move forward while at the same time feeling in a void space.
This lunation is fiery, but it can also teach you to have the courage to show up for yourself and for your healing.
Chiron offers the chance to heal outside of “normal time” —Chiron is multidimensional. What once felt stuck can suddenly start to shift.
This is a day for alignment through cooperation and connection.
On another level, it’s a perfect day to book the session, the therapy, the massage, the energy work. Healing happens faster now if you’re willing to walk through the door that’s opening.
🦂 Mercury Enters Scorpio — Depth & Revelation
And then, right on the Full Moon, Mercury moves into Scorpio — the conversation deepens. You see behind the veil, through the shadows, down to the nitty gritty core of things.
As Mercury forms a Yod with Uranus and Neptune, your perspective shifts, your mind sharpens, and intuitive flashes download like zaps of lightning. The wound has been named, the medicine taken, you have a new take on something that’s had a hold on you for a long time — and from here, you can choose your direction based on what’s been revealed and what next steps your intuitive guidance is pointing you.
🔥 Mars in Scorpio — The Ruler Speaks
Mars, the ruler of this Aries Full Moon, is in Scorpio — wanting depth, connection, closeness, and intimacy. The energy isn’t satisfied with surface-level sparks. It pushes us to get real, go deeper, and face the shadows that come with true intimacy.
💍 Juno Opposite Uranus — Relationship Shake-Ups
Juno, the goddess of marriage and committed partnership — sits in Sagittarius directly across the Sky from Uranus in Gemini. This pairing can stir sudden shifts in relationships: unexpected breaks-ups, shake-ups, or breakthroughs.
This combo could bring instability, or it may feel like excitement and a breath of fresh air. There’s an urge to break free from old dynamics, to try something new and different, or blow the dust off commitments. For some, it may bring the sudden arrival of someone new or even hearing from someone out of the blue. For others, it could spark counseling, new agreements, or fresh ways of relating that change the dynamic for the better.
📢 This Aries Full Moon is like a cosmic megaphone. It gets your attention by dragging what’s been hidden or avoided into the light —and it gets uncomfortable. Relationships get shaken awake, and your own fire won’t allow you to sideline it anymore. This lunation serves as your reminder to be brave enough to follow where the sparks are leading.
