Seeking for external approval
A thing everyone of us has done at one point in time
Even I did, from time to time.
Yes, it was helpful to me
As it gave me clarity
Each time again
Did it hurt? Can’t say it never did
Would I be willing to go through it again?
Probably yes because at heart, I’m still a kid
As many times as people would want me to change, I won’t do so
To change for someone else would be killing my own consciousness and soul
And neglecting its goal
I am here to serve humanity
I’ve chosen that path ages ago
So would I wander off that path? No
I have got no ego, just a little pride
Cause I have God always by and on my side
Time has come to move on
Time has come to turn the tide And boy, am I moving on.
